The apostle Paul declared, “It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.” There are several ways that Christ should be seen living His life through us each day. We will consider these major areas of life that will challenge us to submit to Him. The greatest mission is still submission.

Family Matters

This session will look at Deuteronomy 6 and explore the importance of our first mission field: our family.  We will look at God’s Design, God’s Direction, and God’s Destination for the family.  We will answer the questions of what God requires from fathers, mothers, and children, and be encouraged to replicate God’s model.

Why You Need the Local Church, and Why the Local Church Needs You

When a local assembly functions in a biblical manner, a God-given interdependence results. This seminar will discuss how each of us can play a vital role in our local assemblies and how we can positively impact one another as we grow together under Christ. 

Biblical Womanhood

The shape of the seminar will closely reflect the given topic: direction and purpose. We will enjoy together how biblical womanhood, as revealed in the Old Testament Scriptures, already reflects the longing for the Coming Messiah, the Light of the world. What then does it mean to live in the Light of the Lord Jesus? Drawing from the New Testament Scriptures, we will continue to enjoy how He—the true Light— infuses purpose and meaning into the life of every believing woman— young and old, from every ethnicity. World views and conflicting ideologies of womanhood are merely the external context. They will never change the power and purpose of His truth and light.

Salt and Light in Our World (Business As Missions)

This seminar will introduce how vocational work can serve as a strategic platform for advancing the Gospel, especially in unreached regions, while delving into the theology of work to challenge every believer’s perspective of their vocation. The seminar will also challenge local assemblies to consider how business as missions can expand access to unreached people and the need to intentionally send and commend believers engaged in business for missional purposes.
